What you'll Do
Partner with the Engineering, Product, Design, Security, and Marketing teams to assess potential privacy and security risks and regulatory requirements for Adobe’s products and technologies.
Provide strategic advice to address privacy and security risks while supporting product innovation.
Assist with the development of Privacy-By-Design strategies for products and technologies, (e.g., machine learning and AI) to drive business solutions.
Assist corporate, product, and marketing teams with developing marketing strategies and collateral to tell our privacy story.
Develop, implement and review privacy impact assessments for Adobe products, technologies and services.
Review/draft a variety of agreements related to data, privacy and security, including vendor and customer agreements.
Be a privacy brand ambassador on enterprise customer calls and in meetings.
Be a privacy evangelist inside Adobe to help grow our culture of privacy (e.g., conduct trainings, represent the privacy team in product strategy and design sessions).
What you need to succeed
J.D. degree and membership in at least one state bar preferred.
Minimum 6+ years of relevant privacy experience, including prior in-house or law firm experience.
Familiarity and interest in new media and emerging digital technologies.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
Strategic problem solver with excellent legal and business judgment including demonstrated experience assessing information for risk mitigation opportunities
A meticulous, business-friendly teammate who can think creatively.
Strong understanding and experience with both domestic and international privacy requirements
Exceptional interpersonal skills with a great sense of humor and commitment to professionalism
Experience working collaboratively and effectively with cross-functional teams
Pursuant to the Colorado Fair Pay Act, below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company if based in Colorado.
Colorado Starting Salary: $142,500 - $185,000
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
