Overview

As part of a mission centric, locally delivered and nationally powered organization this role serves as the Tennessee/Alabama region lead in generating, qualifying and securing new corporate partners to drive high impact fundraising while working across the mission and campaign teams within the development department to fully understand business needs and identify and target corporate partners with strategic alignment. Relentlessly pursuing cancer cures.

Reports to:Executive Director, Tennessee/Alabama Region

Responsibilities

Mission Integration

  • Work in partnership with Education Services and Health Research department to effectively communicate the LLS overall mission, programs, resources and priorities.
Innovation in High Impact Fundraising
  • Secure new business development revenue through corporate philanthropic partnerships, presenting level event sponsorships, cause related alliances and mission support
  • Meet and exceed annual new business sales target of $1.5M
  • Drive new business lead generation
  • Through consultative sales identify, propagate and encourage multi-market and national partners
Planning & Process
  • Maintain a pipeline of 80-100 accounts being cultivated and stewarded for corporate gifts
  • Lead 10-15 revenue driving meetings weekly with decision makers
  • Accurately forecast incoming revenue at 90 and 30 days.
  • Fully utilize CRM
Staff & Volunteer Leadership Development
  • Function as the subject matter expert collaborating with region leadership and campaign staff to maximize relationships
  • Partner with volunteer leaders as brand ambassadors through cultivation and strategic alignment, outlining and mapping relationships to secure c-suite meetings
  • Identify leadership and donors to fuel corporate council, peer to peer fundraising and Advancement
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications
  • 5-7+ years of progressively responsible related experience with a minimum of 4 years in inside sales and lead generation
  • Proven track record of securing six figure+ gifts
  • Accomplished sales professional that demonstrates the ability to secure new partners
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree, advanced degree preferred
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
  • Weekend & evening work required
  • Travel approximately 15% of time
