Job Description
How you’ll impact the business:
Prospect new corporate communication and public relations agency direct clients through self-generated opportunities and in-bound marketing leads.
Establish rapport while gathering key information from prospective clients
Schedule product demos to guide clients through our web-based sales presentation
Utilize standard proposals and create custom service packages for clients
Close sales
Encourage renewals on existing contracts
Track and update all activities in Salesforce.com
Work with product task force and leadership to conceptualize and develop products and services to provide to clients
All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
About You:
A sincere enjoyment of relationship-based consultative selling
Desire to learn and contribute to the communications and public relations industry
Must be a team player, as we have a team and people-first culture
Strong persuasion and prospecting skills
5+ years of B2B sales experience or related experience in public relations or agency [AA1]
Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
Demonstrated top performance in prior roles
Demonstrated ability to manage a million dollar + book of business
Demonstrated ability to win new business in prior roles
Strong client management skills
The self-discipline skills and determination to meet and exceed goals
Experience tracking business in a CRM, preferably Salesforce
