CIB - Execution Services - Neovest - Business Development - Associate - NY

Opportunity:

This New York based Business Development position requires an in-depth understanding of the global financial markets, developing and executing client & sales strategy, a strong sales background in the institutional space with the ability to manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closing, outstanding presentation skills, a collaborative approach, excellent networking skills, and technical aptitude.

Responsibilities:

  • Define client sales strategy to deliver software solutions to the buy- and sell-sides, as well as channel partners.
  • Take responsibility for maintaining and developing a book of business - manage the entire sales process from business development, lead qualification, business analysis and client demos through to closing sales.
  • Drive client engagement proactively, creating and cultivating relationships with key contacts within each account to better understand their needs and any changes to their workflow.
  • Be able to demonstrate functionality and workflows of applicable Neovest solutions including technical demos to both prospective and current clients.
  • Define a strategy for each client with measurable objectives.
  • Increase account penetration by identifying and monetizing growth opportunities.
  • Partner with Account Managers to maximize client retention, health and satisfaction by delivering high quality client service coupled with targeted awareness and usage campaigns.
  • Remain current and aware of the trends within the financial industry.
  • Work with management on strategic partnership opportunities in the Fintech space.
  • Partner with product team to shape the product strategy for North America expansion.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience selling trading technology to the buy- and/or sell-side, consistently exceeding sales targets.
  • Deep understanding of financial markets with experience in global equities, options, futures, and/or FX markets.
  • Required: Excellent communication, presentation, and inter-personal skills.
  • Required: Natural and effortless networker.
  • Required: Team player with strong time management skills and an ability to prioritize.
