ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Work closely with departmental and functional leadership to shape and drive business development strategies, short and long-range planning based on current customer opportunities and risks, and organizational capabilities. Identify and develop business relationships with key new customers and opportunities, while maintaining and strengthening existing relationships. These relationships should be acquired by direct sales and customer relationship management, utilizing consistent best practices for client pursuits. Additionally, the director will develop sales strategy, methodology, and tools to assist department sales teams in pursuing new business wins and maintenance agreements. Responsible for all corporate marketing efforts, ensuring a consistent organizational brand across marketing and sales efforts, including through copywriting, editing, and proofreading all location-based marketing collateral. Responsible for social media portfolio, overseas event planning and materials, financing and/or organizational gaps, and plans for how to best address them.
Bachelor s degree in communications, advertising, or marketing is strongly preferred, with 8+ years of demonstrated success in a business development or marketing role supporting business development
Construction and/or real estate knowledge a plus
Demonstrate an informative and professional attitude when working with contractors, customers, and co-workers
Ability to handle multiple tasks with a sense of urgency and a commitment to details
Excellent written/oral communication and presentation skills
Strong computer skills including typing abilities and computer software operation
Must be well organized
Must be self-directed and results-driven
EDUCATION: This position requires a bachelor s degree, Communication, Advertising/Sales, or Marketing specializations are strongly preferred.
EXPERIENCE: This position requires a minimum of 8+ years of demonstrated success in business development or marketing roles directly supporting business development. Experience in the Construction Industry is preferred but not required.
COMPUTER SKILLS: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a working knowledge of computers, including e-mail and word processing abilities, Microsoft Office & estimating software.
TRAVEL: Travel to job sites in all RAM locations is required.
