ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Work closely with departmental and functional leadership to shape and drive business development strategies, short and long-range planning based on current customer opportunities and risks, and organizational capabilities. Identify and develop business relationships with key new customers and opportunities, while maintaining and strengthening existing relationships. These relationships should be acquired by direct sales and customer relationship management, utilizing consistent best practices for client pursuits. Additionally, the director will develop sales strategy, methodology, and tools to assist department sales teams in pursuing new business wins and maintenance agreements. Responsible for all corporate marketing efforts, ensuring a consistent organizational brand across marketing and sales efforts, including through copywriting, editing, and proofreading all location-based marketing collateral. Responsible for social media portfolio, overseas event planning and materials, financing and/or organizational gaps, and plans for how to best address them.

Key Responsibilities:

Your duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Plan, direct, and implement long-term and short-term marketing and sales efforts
  • Direct the solicitation efforts of the sales staff through effective verbal and written communication
  • Strategic placement and analysis for all advertising — direct mail, print, broadcast, and digital social advertising.
  • Project revenue and expenses, including management of the annual marketing budget
  • Oversee corporate events and internal employee communications, newsletters
  • Maintain a centralized marketing and sales plan for use within the marketing team, and for internal and external communications
  • Develop and implement customer development strategies, partnering with department and regional leads
  • Ensure marketing materials are consistent, available, and up to date, representing the organizational brand across all departments and regions.
  • Lead social media team in support of all departmental, regional, and functional goals
  • Collaborate with internal departments to understand potential opportunities
  • Establish partnerships with community organizations, businesses, influencers, and other stakeholders for ongoing cross-promotional collaboration.
  • Lead, supervise, and continually participate in the professional development of the marketing and sales team.
  • Travel to locations as needed to review sales/marketing/revenue strategies with regional office teams.
  • Support and create a marketing plan

ADDITIONAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor s degree in communications, advertising, or marketing is strongly preferred, with 8+ years of demonstrated success in a business development or marketing role supporting business development
  • Construction and/or real estate knowledge a plus
  • Demonstrate an informative and professional attitude when working with contractors, customers, and co-workers
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with a sense of urgency and a commitment to details
  • Excellent written/oral communication and presentation skills
  • Strong computer skills including typing abilities and computer software operation
  • Must be well organized
  • Must be self-directed and results-driven
EDUCATION: This position requires a bachelor s degree, Communication, Advertising/Sales, or Marketing specializations are strongly preferred.

EXPERIENCE: This position requires a minimum of 8+ years of demonstrated success in business development or marketing roles directly supporting business development. Experience in the Construction Industry is preferred but not required.

COMPUTER SKILLS: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a working knowledge of computers, including e-mail and word processing abilities, Microsoft Office & estimating software.

TRAVEL: Travel to job sites in all RAM locations is required.
