We need an experienced Entry-Level Legal Law Clerk to provide support on-going criminal prosecutions for the U.S. Attorney’s Office (USAO) for the Eastern District of Washington at its Spokane, WA headquarters office. Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, discovery, and legal memoranda dealing with a variety of issues
Assist AUSAs in preparing for court hearings and meetings with opposing counsel
Assist AUSAs in preparing for depositions, settlement conferences, and client meetings
Assist AUSAs in litigating cases in federal district and appellate courts covering a broad spectrum of issues
Assist AUSAs in cases covering civil and criminal enforcement of federal laws
Assist AUSAs in defense of federal agency actions under a variety of laws
Participate in court hearings, moot courts, and other events that support the litigation work of the USAO
Progressive and relevant experience
Juris Doctor degree required
