Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst - Investment Management

Our client is a private, independent investment management firm serving as an investment advisor to over 2,200 institutions in over 60 countries. As one of the world’s largest independent investment management firms based in Boston, investments such as global equities, fixed income, currencies, and commodities are their expertise.

In their pursuit of investment excellence, they are hiring a Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst who delivers support to the CFO and other senior management related to financial performance. Your role is interaction with a wide range of individuals spanning all the global business functions that center on financial management and planning.

Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst Responsibilities:
  • Providing financial support for business functions and analyzing key expenses and completing variance analysis
  • Developing data, reporting platforms, and statistical modeling of what-if scenarios and predictive outcomes
  • Completing budget and quarterly forecasts for business functions and support of accompanying presentations
  • Giving additional support to business sponsors of projects, including implementation and ongoing measurement
Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of work experience in finance/accounting roles or management consulting
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or any related field
  • Mastery of new activities with a strong focus on details, new technology/applications, and creatively solving problems
  • Effective analytical and interpersonal skills
