Description :

The HR Generalist is a key position in the organization focused on executing compliant HR core business processes on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. The position performs HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with the HR Business Partner team in supporting designated business units. This position executes all aspects of the employment lifecycle including coordinating separation communications and paperwork. The position provides comprehensive administrative support for the overall Human Resources team. This position also manages key projects that maximize the effectiveness of the HR function.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • I-9 compliance
  • I-9 documents retention process
  • I-9 quarterly audits
  • EAD expiration process
  • Manage required training and policy attestation processes
  • Annual Employee Handbook and policies attestation process
  • Quarterly and biennial anti-harassment training coordination & tracking
  • COVID training assignments and tracking
  • New Manager training including wage and hour assignments and tracking
  • Manage Labor/Compliance posters for the Bank
  • Workers’ compensation claims administration
  • Ergonomic evaluation coordination
  • Safety Policy and COVID administration and support (i.e., vaccine tracking)
  • Notary process
  • Coordinate notary inquiries with the Bank’s Notary Coordinator
  • Set up monthly stipend for new notaries and enter certificate expiration
  • Monitor expiration dates and remove monthly stipend as needed
  • Post branch notary list on PPB intranet
  • Records management
  • Establish and execute records retention process
  • Oversee biannual UKG document extraction and Onbase indexing
  • Manage SOX audit evidence requests
  • Personnel records requests
  • Employee status and job changes for client group
  • Records management uploading documents to Onbase
  • Monitor and respond to HR hotline during regular business hours
  • Monthly new hire orientation support and back up
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2+ years of experience in Human Resources required
