Job Description

The Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of operations projects and provide a single point of contact for those projects, taking projects from original concept through final implementation. You will define project scope and objectives, develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Define project tasks and resource requirements.
  • Develop full scale project plans.
  • Ensure that project staff is selected and provide daily work direction to those assigned to projects to ensure continuing progress toward completion.
  • Manage project budget.
  • Manage project resource allocation.
  • Plan and schedules project timelines. Track progress of projects to ensure timely, quality completion within established budget and timelines.
  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
  • Monitor contracts including review and approval of statements of work and purchase orders; maintain regular communication with service providers.
  • Provide direction and support to project team.
  • Constantly monitor and report on progress of the projects to all stakeholders.
  • Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions..
  • Complete project evaluation and assessment of results including evaluation of team member's work.
  • Effectively communicate relevant project information to business owners and management.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of proven and successful it project management experience.
  • Expertise managing large projects in financial services.
  • Knowledge of various software products such as jira, ms teams, confluence, service now or sharepoint.
  • Ability to handle multiple software applications projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Excellent presentation skills.

Additional Information

Northwest Partners has an FTE opportunity for an IT Project Manager to act as an essential resource to our Financial Services client's team. Candidate must live in the Jacksonville, Florida vicinity or surrounding area, and be able to work in a hybrid model.
