Job Information

  • Support multiple legal executives globally with calendar and expense management
  • Assist in managing outside legal expense, including tracking budget and assisting in setting up external vendors for payment.
  • Drive internal process improvement projects to streamline team efficiency and oversight of matter portfolio.
  • Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience. Understands how work of own team contributes to the area.
  • Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults People Leader or more senior team members for issues outside of defined parameters.
  • Collaborates with others to solve issues. Exchanges technical information, asks questions and checks for understanding.
  • Handles simple data entry work requiring face value check and correction.
  • Prepare presentations for internal leadership reviews
Required Qualifications
  • Associate’s Degree or High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Powerpoint
Desired Characteristics
  • Experience as a paralegal in law firm, government, or in-house litigation paralegal role
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. GE will require proof of status prior to employment.
