RETAIL SALES ASSOCIATE - FULL TIME

• Provide a positive and excited one-of-a-kind customer experience.
• Share product knowledge and enthusiasm for bikes with customers.
• Familiarity with all brands of parts and accessories we stock.
• Direct customers through entire new bike sales process.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.
• Merchandise product according to sales plan.
• Describe merchandise and explain use, operation, and care of merchandise to customers.
• Demonstrate use or operation of merchandise.
• Complete a multitude of daily housekeeping and office tasks: opening/closing, cleaning, inventory.

• Minimum 1 year experience preferred working as a retail sales associate.
• Previous bike shop sales experience preferred.
• Interest in working in a team environment committed to providing excellent sales and service experience while increasing sales through service.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain open and positive relations with employees and customers.
• Interest in developing own skills and knowledge.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings and weekends.
• Physical demands:.
• Able to sit or stand and walk throughout the scheduled work shift.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of this job, reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.
• Able to lift and/or move up to 60 lbs.
• A strong candidate will have 1-2 years retail experience in a bike shop with a strong understanding of bicycle categories.
