SUMMARY
The Senior Financial Analyst will work with the fee-earner and their team to perform various forms of financial analysis. In this role, the Senior Financial Analyst will support the fee-earner in pursuit of prospect clients and the servicing of clients from an analytical perspective. This position will report to the Director of Market Operations and receive day-to-day feedback from the Associate and fee-earners.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support service lines by performing property level analytics, supporting pursuits, and generating reports to internal and external clients
Perform various analytics unique to service line and industry, which may require varying source documents and/or modeling
Key responsibilities
Financial Analysis
Request necessary information from appropriate party for analysis requested and follow up as necessary
Collect required data inputs and make request for information, as needed, from necessary parties to complete analysis
Perform various analytics as requested by fee-earner using industry-specific systems/tools and Microsoft Excel
Meet with fee-earner and/or Associate to discuss assumptions and scenarios for analysis
Prepare and review analysis for review and packaging of material by fee-earner
Support Marketing Specialists, as required, for creative interpretation of financial analysis
Finalize and package analysis for delivery to fee-earner
Pitch and Proposal Coordination
Attend strategy meeting with fee-earner(s) to discuss required analysis for pitch/proposal and corresponding assumptions and scenarios
Perform necessary analysis and provide to fee-earner for review
Prepare analysis write up and provide to Associate for review and completion
Provide analysis to Marketing, Service Delivery Coordinator and/or fee-earner for inclusion in pitch and/or proposal
Work with graphic designers on related visuals for analysis
BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
Demonstrated experience should include:
Bachelor’s Degree (Finance or Accounting preferred)
3-7 years’ experience in Finance field
Financial modeling experience
Commercial Real Estate or relative industry experience strongly preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft Office with advanced knowledge in Excel
Advanced experience in Argus Enterprise and Real Capital Analytics

Knowledge of financial formulas
