Corporate Banking is a technology-centric business with an increasing move to real-time processing, an increasing appetite from customers for integrated systems and access to supporting data. Our Corporate Bank Technology team is a global team that supports the Bank by providing cash management services like Payments to our customers. We are looking for a Senior Technical Engineer to lead the technical teams and help direct and participate in the day-to-day operations of a team of software developers. In this role, you will help to build one of the most critical risk controls under a multi-year “Payments Umbrella” program.

Your Key Responsibilities:
Provide Technical leadership to global teams building Payment Risk Control Tools
Recommend efficient ways to produce new products, evaluate and report progress and results of development efforts
Provide SL3 (Service Level 3) support for the application
Ensure product architecture and implementation is maintainable and extendible to accommodate future development and maintenance
Develop Software Product Deployment and operating instructions
Your Skills and Experience:
Experience with Software Development within an agile environment, and project management
Knowledge of Core Java, Spring-boot, MySQL, PostgreSQL, data processing, Kafka, and MQ
Experience with Shift-left testing with TDD/BDD, Jacoco, Cucumber, Junit, Mockito, and Gatling
Knowledge of Microservices Architecture, Kubernetes, Docker, Cloud Native application, Grafana, Zipkin, Open-API, Rest Services, and Google Cloud Platform
Experience with GIT, Jenkins, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD), Gradle, DevOps, and STRE techniques
How You’ll Lead:
Develop code, conduct code review, design sessions with other team members, and meet business and technical requirements
Coordinate with other Lead Software Development Engineers to create and deliver on an application release plan
Act as an expert on the platform in various capacities, strategy meetings, and product development opportunities
