This position is responsible for the control and execution of the major projects workflow as a Project Manager, from design and fabrication to installation. This role must work with all internal and external resources to coordinate and track progress of major projects according to established schedules and margins. The candidate MUST have project management experience in the signage field.
Duties and Expectations:
Manages day to day work processes and full scope of work to get a project designed, approved, estimated, planned, built, shipped, and installed according to the agreed on contract.
Collaborates with all departments to bring a project to fruition, with a focus on meeting the customer's requirements.
Coordinates meetings to facilitate progress, focusing on meeting established timelines; travel occasionally most likely required to project location
Works to understand the changing needs of the customer; negotiates with a contractual focus to ensure we protect the company's interests
Manages projects successfully to meet a specified gross profit
Communicates regularly to both internal departments, on-site project/install managers and to the external customer
Informs all parties of issues and concerns throughout as well as celebrates and communicates success
Handles customer billing; assembles invoice details for submission to customer
Maintains database records and information throughout the project
Associate Degree in an area related to logistics, project management, manufacturing or construction management-
Bachelor's degree in related course of study is desired
5+ years' experience in managing projects
Ability to read, grasp and apply contractual information as a part of managing a project
Solid negotiation skills with the ability to resolve concerns in a positive way
Sound business acumen and understanding of what drives company profits
