Position Summary:

Critigen is looking for a Software Developer with mobile application development using Xamarin. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join a team developing spatial products and innovation. The ideal candidate will bring excellent problem-solving abilities, thorough knowledge of software development procedures, and be comfortable working in a collaborative team environment.

The position will work remotely from personal home office and in the future will travel periodically to work with our development team.

Primary Skills and Experience:

  • Xamarin application development
  • Strong object-oriented design patterns
  • REST services development
  • Multi-tenant software development
  • Data modeling / database design
  • Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum and / or Kanban methodologies
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BS Computer Science required; Masters degree a plus
  • 5 years of application development experience
  • 5 years’ experience with C#
  • 2 years’ experience with Xamarin.
  • Experience with JSON, JavaScript, Java, and SQL
  • Experience with GIS technologies, understanding of ESRI technology a plus.
  • Proven ability to develop applications focused on end user requirements.
  • Self-starter, team player, with ability to bring alternate points of view to the discussion.
  • Strong organizational skills and collaboration skills highly valued.
