POSITION SUMMARY: Assist the Accounting Manager and Directors with daily, montly, and annual accounting responsibilities.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Update daily cash for two entities
Update weekly cash projections
Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
Assist Accounting Manager with monitoring banking activity and cash balances to ensure appropriate cash flow.
Prepare wire transfers and cash transfers between banks
Prepare and post monthly journal entries
Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Prepare monthly invoice for St. Agnes
Assist Accounting Manager with financial and other audits
Assist Accounting Manager with 990’s and cost reports
Prepare 1099s for 3 organizations
Prepare unclaimed properties for 3 organizations
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Minimum of 2 years accounting experience (healthcare/non-profit preferred)
Highly detail oriented and organized in work
Ability to work in multi-entity, high volume environment
Ability to prioritize and meet assigned deadlines
Ability to act and operate independently
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
Proactive, flexible, and enthusiastic
Good knowledge of US GAAP
Individual should have an appreciation for the elderly community
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains and BI360/Solver a plus
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
Must provide proof of physical with no limitations related to the Principle Job Duties and Essential Functions as outlined above. This includes but is not limited to standing, walking, sitting use of fine motor skills, no restriction on upper or lower range of motion or lifting ability to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The ability to speak, hear, taste, smell. Unimpaired vision at distances both near and far. No restrictions on peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. May be exposed to blood borne pathogens. May be subject to emotionally upset residents, family members, personnel or visitors. Possible exposure to the outdoors, unpleasant odors, house hold chemicals, and ill patients.
